Acrylic resins can be classified according to the production method and can be divided into:


1. Bulk polymerization

It is a more effective production process. The process is to put the raw materials into a special plastic film, then make it react into a block, take it out and crush it, and then filter it. The purity of the solid acrylic resin produced by this method is the highest among all production methods, the stability of the product is also good, and its shortcomings are also very sufficient.


2. Suspension polymerization

It is a more complicated production process and is used as a production method for solid resins. Solid acrylic resin, polymerized by reaction with methyl acrylate. Generally, acrylates with methyl groups have certain functional groups. The polymerization reaction in the reactor is not easy to control, and it is prone to stickiness and explosion.


3. Emulsion polymerization

It is polymerized by the reaction of monomers, initiators and distilled water. Generally, the solid content of the resin is 50% of the emulsion, and it is a water latex solution containing about 50%. The synthetic emulsion is usually milky white and bluish (Tindal phenomenon), and the glass transition temperature is designed according to the FOX formula.


4. Other aggregation methods

After the solvent reacts, it reacts with the solvent as an intermediate material, and the solvent in the reactor is good.
