1. Sulfur-containing silane coupling agent
The development of the automobile industry has promoted the development of the rubber industry. Butadiene rubber is used in the production of tires due to its excellent cold resistance, abrasion resistance, aging resistance and elasticity. However, butadiene rubber has poor tear resistance and poor slip resistance, so it is often necessary to fill a certain amount of silica in butadiene rubber. However, white carbon black has high surface energy, is easy to agglomerate, and is difficult to infiltrate and disperse in the organic phase, so it is surface modified.
At present, the most commonly used surface modifiers in the tire industry are sulfur-containing silane coupling agents. The sulfur-containing silane coupling agent combines with the rubber in the structure, and the alkoxy group combines with the silanol on the surface of the white carbon black to form a firm network structure, which greatly reduces the rolling resistance of the tire.
2. Amino silane coupling agent
As a general coupling agent, aminosilane coupling agents can almost couple with various polymer resins. Due to the existence of free amino groups, this type of silane coupling agent is highly basic and has high reactivity, and the flexural strength of the molding material increases correspondingly with the increase of the amino group. The disadvantage of this type of silane coupling agent is the use process It is prone to premature reaction and fail to achieve the expected results.
γ-ureidopropyltriethoxysilane, as a new type of ureido-containing silane coupling agent, is a neutral water-soluble compound with a pH of about 7, which can be slightly reactive with most resins at low temperatures. There is a reduced response, while maintaining a certain limit working performance.
As a representative of heat-resistant silane coupling agent, due to the combination of silicon atoms and benzene ring, its heat-resistant temperature is 60-100°C higher than that of traditional products.
3. Epoxy-based silane coupling agent
The defect that traditional silane coupling agents easily undergo pre-crosslinking reaction with water limits their application in polyester materials. With the development of research technology, epoxy-type silane coupling agents represented by 3-(2,3-glycidoxy)propyltrimethoxysilane maintain good physical properties at room temperature after storage for more than 12 months. Performance and adhesion, thus showing better long-term storage stability in water-based body properties.
